Project Life for the digiscrapper clean and simple Project Life Series: Clean and SimpleJournal card from Everyday Essentials Mega Journal Pack by Amy Jaz

Today marks a turning point in my Project Life series. We've covered the basics, with posts about divided page protectors, journaling cards, and what to include/how to track it all. I appreciate all your feedback on this series, and if you haven't yet, be sure to check out the comments on the first three posts. Several members have shared additional resources and options for your Project Life-style albums. These next few posts will feature a variety of scrappers who have taken on Project Life in their own way, with their own style. The variety possible with this project is incredible, and I hope you are as inspired as I am after seeing how these ladies make it work for them!

Introduction

Meet Kristin Cronin-Barrow (aka KristinCB), a busy mom and digital scrapbook designer at Sweet Shoppe Designs. She graciously agreed to let me share a peek into her clean and simple, photo-heavy Project Life album. Kristin says:
I wanted to do Project Life but in a style I could commit to so I'm doing 12x12 layouts (printing 8x8) and not focusing on scrapbooking weekly spreads but just planning them out monthly. I'm hoping to find or make little dividers that I can insert into my binders and have the tabs say each month. I'll have a calendar page on the start of each month as well.
Her beautiful, graphic style is perfect for busy scrappers who want something easy to keep up with. You can follow Kristin on her blog and check out her gallery here for more inspiration!

Kristin's Pages

I love the emphasis on bright, colorful everyday photos in Kristin's Project Life pages. Supplemented with plenty of journaling to tell the stories and cute photo captions, it's an easy but gorgeous style! page11550 Project Life Series: Clean and Simple page4109 Project Life Series: Clean and Simple page552 Project Life Series: Clean and Simple

Kristin's Products

The templates Kristin created and uses for her album offer plenty of variety for different arrangements of photos and cards while tying everything together with their classic grids and white borders. She also chose one big, coordinating bundle as her basic "kit" that includes journaling cards, papers, tags, and alphas. Choosing one "go-to" kit or bundle for the whole project (or even just choosing one per month) simplifies the decision-making when you're ready to scrap, while still giving you the freedom to add in other pieces.

I hope you've enjoyed this little peek into one scrapper's approach to Project Life. Please leave her some love and a big thank you for sharing a bit of herself with us! Stay tuned in the coming weeks to hear from more scrappers and get inspired by the many ways to approach this fun project!
